After thus considering the matter as far as his knowledge would allow, Vasudeva submitted his proposal to the sinful Kaṁsa with great respect.

After thus considering the matter as far as his knowledge would allow, Vasudeva submitted his proposal to the sinful Kaṁsa with great respect.
KB 10.1.52
Vasudeva, after deliberating on how to save his wife, began to speak to Kaṁsa with great respect, although Kaṁsa was the most sinful man. Sometimes it happens that a most virtuous person like Vasudeva has to flatter a person like Kaṁsa, a most vicious person. That is the way of all diplomatic transactions.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
After carefully considering the options, using his intelligence to full capacity to determine the correct path, Vasudeva began to praise sinful Kamsa.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
He considered as much as he could in the perplexing situation. He worshipped the sinful Kaṁsa with great respect. This means he praised him.
