Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is situated as antaryāmī, the Supersoul, in the core of everyone's heart, heard the boys talking among themselves about the artificial python. Unknown to them, it was actually Aghāsura, a demon who had appeared as a python. Kṛṣṇa, knowing this, wanted to forbid His associates to enter the demon's mouth. KB 10.12.25 Meanwhile, Kṛṣṇa, who is the Supersoul within everyone’s heart, could understand that the big statuesque figure was a demon. Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

Hearing the boys discuss about the real snake as if it were something else Krsna began to think. "What is really a snake’s mouth they are thinking is some scenic part of Vrndavan, not a snake’s mouth. This is not just a snake, but the demon called Aghasura. " How did he know this? Because he is situated in everyone’s heart (akhila bhuta hrt sthitah) as paramatma, knowing everything. He then decided to prevent them (svanam) from entering.

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

Hearing the speech of his friends, who were acting like ignorant people, hearing that speech which was false, since truly (amṛṣā) the gaping mouth of the snake shone with brilliance (mṛṣāyate) in Vṛndāvana, and knowing it was not only a python but the Rākṣasa named Agha, since he was in everyone’s heart as Paramātmā, was the inspiration for all things and was endowed with all powers (bhagavān), he wanted to prevent them.
