निर्यात त्यजत त्रासं गोपा: सस्त्रीधनार्भका: उपारतं वातवर्षं व्युदप्रायाश्च निम्नगा: ॥ २६ ॥

Verse text

niryāta tyajata trāsaṁ gopāḥ sa-strī-dhanārbhakāḥ upārataṁ vāta-varṣaṁ vyuda-prāyāś ca nimnagāḥ

Synonyms

niryāta — please go out ; tyajata — give up ; trāsam — your fear ; gopāḥ — O cowherd men ; sa — together with ; strī — your women ; dhana — property ; arbhakāḥ — and children ; upāratam — finished ; vāta — varṣam — the wind and rain ; vi — uda — without water ; prāyāḥ — practically ; ca — and ; nimnagāḥ — the rivers .

Translation

[Lord Kṛṣṇa said:] My dear cowherd men, please go out with your wives, children and possessions. Give up your fear. The wind and rain have stopped, and the rivers’ high waters have subsided.

[Lord Kṛṣṇa said:] My dear cowherd men, please go out with your wives, children and possessions. Give up your fear. The wind and rain have stopped, and the rivers' high waters have subsided. KB 10.25.26 “My dear cowherd men, now you can leave and take your wives, children, cows and valuables, because everything is ended. The inundation has gone down, along with the swelling waters of the river.”

O cowherd, who have protected the cows from the rain! That the rivers have decreased their waters is not astonishing since the heat of Kṛṣṇa’s power has made the showering waters shrink. Without him doing that, the clouds of universal destruction would have inundated everything. Dhana refers to cows or cows and their other wealth.

O cowherds, who have protected the cows from the rain! Go out with the women, wealth or cows, and the children. The rivers swollen by rain have subsided (vyuda-prāyāḥ). This means that water had left the land.
