Translation
Lord Kṛṣṇa asked Akrūra: Have you seen something wonderful on the earth, in the sky or in the water? From your appearance, We think you have.
Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
Lord Kṛṣṇa asked Akrūra: Have you seen something wonderful on the earth, in the sky or in the water? From your appearance, We think you have.
KB 10.41.3
Kṛṣṇa asked whether he had seen something wonderful within the water or in space.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
Kṛṣṇa, who inspires the senses or is omniscient (hṛṣīkeśaḥ), spoke out of curiosity. What did you experience at this holy place? It looks like you have seen something astonishing. It can see that by your appearance, such as your wide eyes.
nūnaṁ te dṛṣṭam āścaryam akrūra yamunājale /
vismayotphulla-nayano bhavān saṁ lakṣyate yataḥ //
O Akrūra! You must have seen something astonishing in the water of the Yamunā since you have wide eyes. Viṣṇu Purāṇa.
He spoke in the plural to indicate that his elder brother also had noticed this.
