KB 10.41.7
As they rode from Vṛndāvana to Mathurā, all the passersby along the way who saw Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma could not help but look at Them again and again.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
Having seen Krsna and Balarama, the people on the road could not withdraw their eyes (na adaduh). Seeing them, they remained motionless.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
Moreover they proceeded slowly because they wanted to give pleasure to the people on the road. The village people were simple but by nature, they were attracted (prītāḥ) to the two boys. O king! You can understand their nature. Or remembering those people’s affection for Kṛṣṇa, he calls out to the king when pain arises from his prema.
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
Moreover they proceeded slowly because they wanted to give pleasure to the people on the road. The village people were simple but by nature, they were attracted (prītāḥ) to the two boys. O king! You can understand their nature. Or remembering those people’s affection for Kṛṣṇa, he calls out to the king when pain arose from his prema. At that time, the people gathered on the road to see the sons of Vasudeva (vasudeva-sutau). They became aware at this time of Kṛṣṇa’s birth. Or they watched because of the great beauty, since Kṛṣṇa revealed qualities of bhagavān, though he was his son. Or Vasudeva means the best of Vasus, Nanda.
