Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

Because your minds are totally absorbed in Me and free from all other engagement, you remember Me always, and so you will very soon have Me again in your presence. KB 10.47.36 Kṛṣṇa wanted to teach through the behavior of the gopīs that one who is constantly in trance like the gopīs surely attains His lotus feet. Lord Caitanya taught people in general the method of vipralambha-sevā, which is the method of rendering service unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the feeling of separation. The Six Gosvāmīs also taught worship of Kṛṣṇa in the feeling of the gopīs in separation. The prayers composed by Śrīnivāsācārya about the Gosvāmīs explain these matters very clearly. Śrīnivāsācārya said that the Gosvāmīs were always absorbed in the ocean of transcendental feelings in the mood of the gopīs. When they lived in Vṛndāvana they were searching for Kṛṣṇa, crying, “Where are You, Kṛṣṇa? O gopīs, where are You? Where are You, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī?” They never said, “We have now seen Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, and therefore our mission is fulfilled.” Their mission remained always unfulfilled; they never met Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa.

Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

"Oh Uddhava, That message also you should keep in the treasure box of your heart. Though now Krsna is enjoying with the women of Mathura, sometime in the future he will be far from their eyes. At that time you can give this message to them. But right now, this message is unacceptable in Vraja. Previously, even when Krsna was present in Vraja and visible to our eyes, and then was absent of a moment, that moment felt like a hundred yugas. During that period of separation appearing like one yuga, the gopis would have brought Krsna near with their mind thousands and thousands of times!" When the gopis spoke irreverently in this way, Uddhava replied. "O women if this message does not appeal to you, then hear another message from me. I have brought many messages." Again he distributed Krsna’s words to them. "As you have completely rejected (vi =visesena muktah) objects like house and husband, your minds concentrate upon me, Krsna, and you constantly remember me. Because of this you will very soon attain my personal presence."

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

Having given instructions to this extent, Kṛṣṇa again considers. I have given three solutions. But if the gopīs consider the aprakaṭa manifestation with respect, they will still not be enthusiastic to control their minds and meditate on it. I will have to create a solution in the prakaṭa manifestation. Thinking in this way, my whimsy should be destroyed after some time by their insistence. He then speaks this verse. In this and the next verse, Kṛṣṇa repeats the word “me” two or three times. This refers to Kṛṣṇa and excludes any other form. Because your minds have given up unlimited functions and have become absorbed in me, Kṛṣṇa, who gives himself to those who take shelter, by remembering me in this form constantly, very soon you will attain closeness to me, the form of Kṛṣṇa. I am not independent in this regard. “If that is so, you will again show your whimsy and leave.” He then says to please them, “This is eternal.” I have done this impulsively and it will not happen in the future.

Purport (Sanatana Goswami)

“You should not stay in Mathurā for a long time to accomplish that.” That is true. That is now accomplished. Understand that I have almost come.” You will attain me eternally very soon. There will no longer be separation. “Being without power, we do not see the method.” Your minds have given up unlimited desires, and easily, naturally, becomes absorbed in me, Kṛṣṇa, who attractes your hearts. By your remembrance of me, I become attracted and will come here. There is no need for you to practice some other method.
