मधुपर्कमुपानीय वासांसि विरजांसि स: उपायनान्यभीष्टानि विधिवत् समपूजयत् ॥ ३३ ॥

madhu-parkam upānīya vāsāṁsi virajāṁsi saḥ upāyanāny abhīṣṭāni vidhi-vat samapūjayat

Synonyms

madhu — parkam — the traditional mixture of milk and honey ; upānīya — bearing ; vāsāṁsi — garments ; virajāṁsi — spotless ; saḥ — he ; upāyanāni — presentations ; abhīṣṭāni — desirable ; vidhi — vat — according to scriptural prescriptions ; samapūjayat — performed worshiped .

Translation

Presenting Them with madhu-parka, new clothing and other desirable gifts, he worshiped Them according to standard rituals.

Presenting Them with madhu-parka, new clothing and other desirable gifts, he worshiped Them according to standard rituals. KB 10.53.33-34 Immediately he arranged to receive Them, along with Their soldiers, in a suitable garden house. As was the Vedic custom, the King offered Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma honey and fresh, washed garments.

Having indicated the items, Śukadeva now describes how they were used. He brought the madhuparka near or offered it with service attitude as a gift. He also offered items dear to them or himself such as elephants, horses, and jewels. He worshipped them in a special way (sam) or as his son-in-laws.
