नाहमीस्वरयो: कुर्यां हेलनं रामकृष्णयो: । को नु क्षेमाय कल्पेत तयोर्वृजिनमाचरन् ॥ १२ ॥ कंस: सहानुगोऽपीतो यद्‍द्वेषात्त्याजित: श्रिया । जरासन्ध: सप्तदश संयुगाद् विरथो गत: ॥ १३ ॥

nāham īsvarayoḥ kuryāṁ helanaṁ rāma-kṛṣṇayoḥ ko nu kṣemāya kalpeta tayor vṛjinam ācaran kaṁsaḥ sahānugo ’pīto yad-dveṣāt tyājitaḥ śriyā jarāsandhaḥ saptadaśa- saṁyugād viratho gataḥ

Translation

[Kṛtavarmā said:] I dare not offend the Supreme Lords, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma. Indeed, how can one who troubles Them expect any good fortune? Kaṁsa and all his followers lost both their wealth and their lives because of enmity toward Them, and after battling Them seventeen times Jarāsandha was left without even a chariot.

[Kṛtavarmā said:] I dare not offend the Supreme Lords, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma. Indeed, how can one who troubles Them expect any good fortune? Kaṁsa and all his followers lost both their wealth and their lives because of enmity toward Them, and after battling Them seventeen times Jarāsandha was left without even a chariot. KB 10.57.12-13 “I shall never be able to offend Lord Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, for They are not ordinary persons. They are the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Who can be saved from death if he has offended Balarāma and Kṛṣṇa? No one can be saved from Their wrath.” Kṛtavarmā further said that Kaṁsa, although powerful and assisted by many demons, could not be saved from Kṛṣṇa’s wrath, and what to speak of Jarāsandha, who had been defeated by Kṛṣṇa seventeen times and each time had to return from the fighting in disappointment.

Purport

Śrīla Śrīdhara Svāmī explains that the word helanam indicates acting against the Lords’ will, and that vṛjinam indicates an offense against the Lords.

"In instigating you to kill Satrajit, I had no intentions of hostility towards the Lord. If you do not want to surrender to the Lord, should I also, like you, act against the Lord?" "Kamsa and his followers, died (apitah), and thus lost their wealth." Or the sentence cane mean, "Already dead, because of their enmity towards the Lord, they were also rejected by Laksmi. In seventeen battles, Jarasandha was defeated."

Let others offend them but I cannot. Because of their enmity wealth abandoned them. Wealth was there but not with them.

Purport (Sanatana Goswami)

Let others offend them but I cannot. Why? They are full of all powers (īśvarayoḥ). Balarāma enjoys battle (rāma). Kṛṣṇa takes away the life of enemies (kṛṣṇayoḥ). Who is qualified for benefit by obstructing them? Because of hatred for Kṛṣṇa or both of them, Kaṁsa was rejected by wealth of dharma (śriyā). Or he was deprived of wealth by Kṛṣṇa. Because of hatred of Kṛṣṇa, Jarāsandha was left without a chariot.
