Translation
Lord Keśava arrived in Dvārakā and described the demise of Śatadhanvā and His own failure to find the Syamantaka jewel. He spoke in a way that would please His beloved, Satyabhāmā.

After killing Śatadhanvā, Kṛṣṇa returned to Dvārakā, and in order to please His wife Satyabhāmā, He informed her of the death of Śatadhanvā, the killer of her father. But He also informed her that the jewel had not been found in his possession.
Purport
Naturally Queen Satyabhāmā was pleased to hear that her father’s murderer had been brought to justice. But her father’s Syamantaka jewel still had to be recovered, and thus she was also pleased to hear of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s determination to recover it.

The Lord, the comforter of his beloved (priyayah priya krt),said "I was unable to keep your father alive, because he had a short lifespan, but I have killed his killer with my own hand."

He is called Keśava because he controls Brahmā (ka) and Śiva (īśa) or because he killed Keśī easily. Because of such power he returned quickly to Dvārakā. He described the details (pra—āha) such as chasing Śatadhanvā for a long distance. He was able to kill Śatadhanvā because he was the Lord (vibhuḥ). Because he was controlled by prema he pleased his beloved (priyakṛt).
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
He was directly the Lord (keśavaḥ), pervading everywhere (vibhuḥ) with his unlimited powers. He showed more affection for Satyabhāmā than to Rukmiṇī and Jāmbavatī. He spoke to her about the death of Śatadhanvā, running after him etc. Or though he was most affectionate to her (priya-kṛt), he spoke about not attaining the jewel, since he particularly loved the devotees more than his beloveds (vibhuḥ). He was favoring Akrūra. Or he spread the universe with his māyā (vibhuḥ), fooling even his beloved. Śukadeva with special bhāva speaks with envy.
