Translation
If You can subdue them, O descendant of Yadu, You will certainly be the appropriate bridegroom for my daughter, O Lord of Śrī.
Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
If You can subdue them, O descendant of Yadu, You will certainly be the appropriate bridegroom for my daughter, O Lord of Śrī.
KB 10.58.44
King Nagnajit continued his request: “Kṛṣṇa, if You’ll kindly bridle the seven bulls and bring them under control, then undoubtedly You will be selected as the desired husband of my daughter, Satyā.”
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
In this sentence yad means "if," or more correcly "because." "Because you control the seven bulls, you can marry my daughter." By addressing Krsna as the master of Laksmi, he declares that Krsna is her husband, since he can control the bulls. He had kept the bulls just to be killed by Krsna as they were inimical to him.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
Yadi indicates certainty as in the following. Dhatse padaṁ tvam avitā yadi vighna-mūrddhni: because you are the direct protector of your devotee, he is able to step over the head of whatever obstacle the demigods place before him. (SB 11.4.10) You will certainly subdue the bulls. Or, since you will subdue the bulls, you will be the appropriate groom. You alone are suitable since others will not be able to do this because the bulls are strong and the bulls cannot harm you because of they are only bulls. In order to fulfill our desires and our promise, you should do this. You should also do this to give joy to the Yadus (yadu-nandana).
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
O joy of the Yadus! You should to this to give joy to the Yadus. O husband of Lakṣmī! I agree to this because you are the master of Lakṣmī. By subduing the bulls, you have permission to take my daughter. Or you are the appropriate groom since you are the husband of Rukmiṇī.
