Translation
After hearing from Nārada the news of Aniruddha’s deeds and His capture, the Vṛṣṇis, who worshiped Lord Kṛṣṇa as their personal Deity, went to Śoṇitapura.

Fortunately, one day the great sage Nārada came and informed the family about Aniruddha’s disappearance from the palace. He explained how Aniruddha had been carried to the city of Śoṇitapura, the capital of Bāṇāsura’s empire, and how Bāṇāsura had arrested him with the nāga-pāśa, even though Aniruddha had defeated his soldiers. This news was given in detail by Nārada, and the whole story was disclosed. Then the members of the Yadu dynasty, all of whom had great affection for Kṛṣṇa, prepared to attack the city of Śoṇitapura.

Hearing news of Anriuddha and his activities, the Vrsnis went to Sonitapura.

Tad refers to Aniruddha. Properly it should be tasya but for metrical reasons it is tad. They heard closely, secretly the news (upa—karṇya). They went to Śonita-pura with great zeal (pra--yayuh). Kṛṣṇa was Aniruddha’s grandfather and Svayam Bhagavān. He was the most worshippable by the Yadus (kṛṣṇa-daivatāḥ). This means that they did not have fear. This also means that Kṛṣṇa went, since they followed him.

Then (tat) hearing (ākarṇya) the news about Aniruddha (tat) from Nārada, closely, secretly (upa) the Yadus went with great zeal (pra) to Śonitapura because their deity was the supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa. Since they went by his order or by his mercy, they possessed all powers.
