Translation
The furious Lord of the Yādavas then threw aside His club and plow and with His bare hands hammered a blow upon Dvivida’s collarbone. The ape collapsed, vomiting blood.

This time Lord Balarāma became most angry. Since the gorilla was striking Him with his hands, Lord Balarāma would not strike him back with His own weapons, the club or the plow. Simply with His fists He struck the collarbone of the gorilla. This blow proved fatal to Dvivida, who immediately vomited blood and fell unconscious upon the ground.

Śrīla Prabhupāda writes: “This time Lord Balarāma became most angry. Since the gorilla was striking Him with his hands, Lord Balarāma would not strike him back with His own weapons, the club or the plow. Simply with His fists He began to strike the collarbone of the gorilla. This striking proved to be fatal to Dvivida.”

Balarama threw aside his plough and pestle because it was only proper to fight without weapons with Dvivida who was now weaponless. He struck Dvivida on the collar bone (jatru).

Balarāma gave up his pestle and plough since Dvivida had no weapons to fight with. This was the proper code. Using his fists, he put Dvivida in complete pain (abhy—ardayat). The form ardayat instead of ārdayat is poetic license. Dvivida (saḥ) then fell down, vomiting blood.

Balarāma would kill Dvivida for the benefit of the Yadus (yādavendraḥ). Angry, he gave up his weapons because it was proper to fight a person with no weapons by not using weapons. Making it a just battle, he gave great pain to Dvivida with his arms and fists. Dvivida (saḥ) collapsed.
