pareśāya kṛtāṣjaliḥ
rājṣām āvedayad duḥkhaṁ
jarāsandha-nirodha-jam

Translation
That person bowed down to Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and with joined palms he described to the Lord how a number of kings were suffering because Jarāsandha had imprisoned them.

… and the man appeared and offered his respectful obeisances unto the Lord with folded hands. It had happened that when King Jarāsandha conquered all other kingdoms, many kings did not bow their heads before Jarāsandha, and consequently all of them, numbering twenty thousand, were arrested and made his prisoners. The man brought before Lord Kṛṣṇa by the doorkeeper was a messenger from all these imprisoned kings. Being duly presented before the Lord, the man began to relay a message from the kings, as follows.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
The messenger saw Kṛṣṇa as the Supreme Lord. He described the suffering of kings to Kṛṣṇa after offering respects. Or he spoke with sorrowful words about the kings.
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
The person bowed to Kṛṣna, who gives all happiness because he was directly the supreme Lord. Or he bowed to svayam bhagavān, who was endowed with all powers (pareśāya). Thus he informed the Lord of the suffering of the kings, as a messenger who had been given a letter by the kings secretly.
