bhrātur bhāryā hṛtekṣatām
pramattaḥ sa sabhā-madhye
tvayā vyāpāditaḥ sakhā
taṁ tvādya niśitair bāṇair

Translation
[Śālva said:] You fool! Because in our presence You kidnapped the bride of our friend Śiśupāla, Your own cousin, and because You later murdered him in the sacred assembly while he was inattentive, today with my sharp arrows I will send You to the land of no return! Though You think Yourself invincible, I will kill You now if You dare stand before me.

[Śālva said:] You fool! “You rascal, Kṛṣṇa! You kidnapped Rukmiṇī forcibly, even in our presence. You baffled my friend Śiśupāla and married Rukmiṇī Yourself. And in the great assembly at King Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rājasūya-yajṣa, while my friend Śiśupāla was a little absent-minded, You took an opportunity to kill him. Everyone thinks that You are a great fighter and that no one can conquer You. So now You’ll have to prove Your strength. I think that if You stand before me any longer, with my sharp arrows I shall send You to a place wherefrom You will never return.”

"O fool I will make you die."
However the other meaning is: "because there is no confusion for you (yat tvaya amudha) , you took your rightful wife who is actually Laksmi, while we and our friend and paternal cousin Sisupala looked on (and you ignored us. Genitive case implies disregard.) Today I let you, the object of adoration for being invincible to sharp arrows, give me liberation." Or "I attain you who gives liberation ( tvam apunar avrttim) and therefore will not take rebirth."

Because you stole the bride of your brother and our friend, and in the assembly, not the battlefield, you killed him while he was inattentive, I will kill you today. Tvayā is repeated to indicate Śālva’s hatred of Kṛṣṇa. Since he is my friend (sakhā), I must take revenge. I will kill you if you stand before me. By this he indicates that Kṛṣṇa will flee in fear. Sarasvatī gives another meaning
O wise one (amūḍha)! Śiśupāla was our friend and brother. You took your own wife, since she is Lakṣmī, while we watched with indifference. You killed our friend who was acting wildly and using bad words like a drunkard.
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
He was a brother because he was a friend, or because he was your cousin. He was killed in an assembly, not in battle, and while he was inattentive. Otherwise you could not have killed him. He repeats the word tvayā (by you), to emphasize that Kṛṣṇa alone was the killer. This shows his intense hatred for Kṛṣṇa. Since he was a friend, I lament for him and must take revenge. If you stand before me I will kill you. Actually you will flee from me in fear.
