“My dear Supreme Personality of Godhead, You are the original cause of all causes, exactly as the earth is the original cause of different kinds of trees, plants and similar varieties of manifestation. As the earth is present in everything, so You are present throughout this material manifestation as the Supersoul. You are the supreme cause of all causes, the eternal principle. Everything, in fact, is a manifestation of Your one energy.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
You are the indestructible pradhana among all the perishable states, just as earth and gold, though permanent take temporary forms like pots and earrings.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
You are the indestructible material cause (upādānam). You as Brahman are the cause of all śaktis.
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
The śakti for realizing happiness in liberation, for liberated souls, comes from you. You are designated by those who know or are seen to be (nirūpitam) the indestructible consciousness in all causes of the universe (bhāveṣu).
