Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

Happiness arising from knowledge of ātmā is in sattva, happiness arising from sense objects is in rajas and happiness arising from delusion and degradation is in tamas. But that happiness arising from activities related to me is beyond the guṇas. Happiness arising from knowledge of tat, ātmā, is in sattva. Happiness arising from chanting about me is beyond the guṇas.
