Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

Although I was a powerful lord with great opulence, that woman rejected me as if I were no more than an insignificant blade of grass and departed. And still, naked and without shame, I followed her, crying out to her like a madman. I am just a pet animal because I followed this woman who left after rejecting me like a blade of grass, even though I was a king.
