Translation
Thereupon, placing the Lord deeply within his heart, the great devotee Uddhava went to Badarikāśrama. By engaging there in austerities, he attained to the Lord’s personal abode, which had been described to him by the only friend of the universe, Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself.
Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
Thereupon, placing the Lord deeply within his heart, the great devotee Uddhava went to Badarikāśrama. After engaging there in austerities, he attained the Lord’s personal abode (Dvārakā), just as stated by the Lord, the only friend in the universe, by the Lord’s arrangement.
Viśālām means Badarikāśrama. He went to his destination, because of the Lord’s arrangement (hareḥ). This means he went to Dvārakā.
Purport
Śrī Uddhava returned to Dvārakā in the spiritual sky, according to Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura.
