निर्जिता असुरा देवैर्युध्यनेनोपबृंहितै: ।
मायिनां परमाचार्यं मयं शरणमाययु: ॥ ५३ ॥

nirjitā asurā devair
yudhy anenopabṛṁhitaiḥ
māyināṁ paramācāryaṁ
mayaṁ śaraṇam āyayuḥ

Translation
Nārada Muni said: When the demigods, who are always powerful by the mercy of Lord Kṛṣṇa, fought with the asuras, the asuras were defeated, and therefore they took shelter of Maya Dānava, the greatest of the demons.

Nārada said: When the demons were defeated by the devatās in battle, made powerful by Kṛṣṇa, the demons took shelter of the demon Maya, their supreme teacher.
Anena means “by Kṛṣṇa.”
