ब्रह्मणा प्रेषितो देवान्देवर्षिर्नारदो नृप ।
वारयामास विबुधान्दृष्ट्वा दानवसङ्क्षयम् ॥ ४३ ॥

brahmaṇā preṣito devān
devarṣir nārado nṛpa
vārayām āsa vibudhān
dṛṣṭvā dānava-saṅkṣayam

Translation
O King, when Lord Brahmā saw the imminent total annihilation of the demons, he sent a message with Nārada, who went before the demigods to make them stop fighting.

O King! Sent by Brahmā, Nārada, on seeing the destruction of the demons, stopped the devatās from doing so.
