विलोकयन्ती क्रीडन्तमुदकार्थं नदीं गता ।

udakārthaṁ nadīṁ gatā
homa-velāṁ na sasmāra
kiṣcic citraratha-spṛhā

Translation
She had gone to bring water from the Ganges, but when she saw Citraratha, the King of the Gandharvas, sporting with the celestial girls, she was somewhat inclined toward him and failed to remember that the time for the fire sacrifice was passing.

She had gone to bring water from the Gaṅgā, but while looking at the sporting, and desiring to see his colorful chariot, she completely forgot that the time for the fire sacrifice was passing.
Kiṣcid modifies the verb. She completely forgot the time for sacrifice, because she desired to see the colorful chariot of the Gandharva.
