vyaktaṁ kenāpi nas tasya
kṛtam āśrama-dūṣaṇam

Translation
How strange it is that one of us has attempted to do something wrong to Cyavana Muni, the son of Bhṛgu. It certainly appears that someone among us has polluted this āśrama.

You have committed some offense to Cyavana. It is certain that someone among us must have done something to pollute his hermitage.
You have committed (vicestitam) some offense. Someone among us must have committed an offense.
